Thoroughly damp clean the floor weekly after vacuuming it to make sure that no dust residue is left behind. By damp cleaning you ensure that any excess dust left behind after vacuuming is lifted off by the wet cloth. Use of soaps is highly discouraged as some of this soaps contain harmful corrosive chemical agents.

When using a raised platform to lift the equipment off the ground lift it up or just move it and do a thorough remove debris from the underneath. Another popular place that harbors dust and dirt is raised floors, regularly do a thorough vacuuming of the said area to and remove all dirt found underneath.
